Can A City Garden Revitalize St. Louis?



In the wake of this economic turmoil, many cities are looking for inventive ways to accumulate revenue. St. Louis is the most recent city to install a public art project that is garnering national attention. Citygarden is both a park and a sculpture garden. Comprised of works by Modern and Contemporary artists, this space is sure to draw national acclaim. City officials hope this project will not only revitalize this space, but also draw both local and national visitors. The city's plans do not end here, city officials hope to further develop the area surrounding the Citygarden in an effort to revive St. Louis.
